The Dog and the Physician

Image
I remember the story about a dog which was suffering from a serious skin disease. There were patches of sore skins here and there, traces of open wounds all over, swollen skins everywhere, pus oozing and leaking, hair almost gone. That made it worse, rendering the unsightly dog’s predicament open for all to see.   The owner has thrown out the dog.   Nobody wanted to have the dog as a playmate. Even fellow dogs.   The poor canine has to ramage through trash bags and cans to look for food in order to survive. The mere sight of the dog would cause people to pick up stones and anything that can be thrown, to use in shooing it away. It was bad enough that our miserable chap is in that state; it was even thought to be a disease-carrier. Because of that, the dog has to wander around; it has no owner, no home, no friend, nothing.   It strayed and strayed, farther and farther.   Until one day, it strayed into the door o...

What saves you?

“It will not save me to know that Christ is a Saviour; but it will save me to trust him to be my Saviour. I shall not be delivered from the wrath to come, by believing that his atonement is sufficient; but I shall be saved by making that atonement my trust, my refuge, and my all. The pith, the essence of faith lies in this---a casting oneself on the promise. It is not the life buoy on board ship that saves the man when he is drowning, nor is it his belief that it is an excellent and successful invention. No! he must have it around his loins, or his hand upon it, or else he will sink.” C.H. Spurgeon http://www.akjb.org

Here’s a 3 rd blog from e-mail. The double-quote don’t seem to work correctly. Anyway, I’m still testing the demarkation code   It seems that once the sharp sign is encountered, nothing else gets printed (on the page view). That means that even though it is enclose in double-quote, it won’t show. Here’s another test.   If this goes well, it proves one thing: always at the 3 rd try things are (almost) perfect.   This is the last line.

Blogging from e-mail

I’m a newbie when it comes to blogging, and I just found that there is also a facility to blog through e-mail. Well, this is a test blog-through-e-mail.   Seeing this at the blog site means that the facility works, and I did the blogging correctly.   I don’t need to stay at the website simply to blog.   And I can blog anywhere, anytime…   Thanks, guys. You make it easy for us all bloggers. Keep up the good work!   # end [This e-mail is confidential and may also be privileged. Questions on "The Atoning Death of Christ"

While searching for some articles on cooking, health and nutrition, and related items, I stumbled upon this blog site. http://bobhurt.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html The owner posted a lot of questions about the atoning death of Christ, and its importance. and there are a lot more questions the guy threw. I took that link, posted the same questions to the Reformation Highway, and below is the link to their answers. Thanks a lot, guys! http://www.reformationsuperhighway.com/viewthread.php?tid=1198
